Independence Day

We commemorate Independence Day on 15th August with enormous enthusiasm, creating a sense of nationalism and cooperation among our members. Our secretary raises the national flag and offers garlands to the freedom fighters. This day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our ancestors for our freedom, instilling a sense of pride and gratitude in all of us. Our celebration includes cultural performances of traditional music and dance, as well as speeches emphasizing the role of women’s education and health.

Republic  Day

We rejoice in  Republic Day, which is celebrated annually on January 26th to commemorate the adoption of India’s constitution in 1950. Our members hoist the national flag. We distribute food and sweets among our members and volunteers. We provide nutritious food to destitute children. We also organize cultural programs and activities to showcase the rich diversity of our country. It is a day of national pride and unity, bringing people together to honor the values enshrined in our constitution.

World Environment Day

On June 5th, we organized a camp for World Environment Day to address the impact of rising pollution on human health and the environment. Eminent speakers highlighted factors contributing to water, air, and sound pollution. The discussion emphasized the urgent need to expedite the removal of the old vehicles, reduce plastic use, enforce compulsory effluent treatment plants for industries, and implement other measures to control and reduce pollution.

International Women’s Day

On March 8th, we celebrated International Women’s Day with a series of impactful events. Social activists joined us to inspire and motivate women from all walks of life. The day featured practical workshops designed to empower women with new skills and knowledge. These sessions aimed to foster personal growth and professional development, providing valuable tools and resources to help women achieve their goals and overcome challenges.

Gandhi Jayanti 

On October 2nd, we observed Gandhi Jayanti to honor Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy of non-violence and social justice. The celebration featured inspiring talks about his philosophy, along with cultural programs and community service activities. This day aimed to reflect on Gandhi’s contributions to India’s freedom struggle and to encourage the principles of peace, truth, and compassion in our daily lives.

Ambedkar Jayanti

On April 14th, we commemorate Ambedkar Jayanti to honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a key figure in the fight for social justice and equality. The event featured speeches on his contributions to drafting the Indian Constitution and advancing the rights of marginalized communities. Cultural performances and discussions highlighted his legacy and continued relevance. The celebration aimed to inspire and educate participants about Dr. Ambedkar’s vision for a just and equitable society.

Valmiki Jayanti

On October 4th, we recognize Valmiki Jayanti, honoring the great sage and author of the Ramayana. The event included enlightening lectures on Valmiki’s contributions to literature and spirituality, along with cultural performances and community gatherings. This celebration aimed to recognize Valmiki’s impact on Hindu culture and values and to inspire a deeper appreciation of his teachings and literary achievements.

Narayan Guru Jayanti

On August 20th, we acknowledge Narayan Guru Jayanti, commemorating the life and teachings of this revered spiritual leader and social reformer. The event featured enlightening talks on his philosophy of equality and social justice, along with cultural programs and community discussions. The celebration aimed to honor Guru Narayan’s contributions to social reform and to inspire ongoing efforts toward unity, education, and empowerment in our communities.

Mahatma Ayyankali Jayanti

On August 28th, we celebrated Mahatma Ayyankali Jayanti, honoring the legacy of this pioneering social reformer. The event included insightful discussions about his contributions to social justice and equality, as well as cultural performances and educational activities. The celebration aimed to raise awareness of Ayyankali’s efforts in uplifting marginalized communities and to inspire continued work toward social equity and empowerment.

Chokha Mela

Chokha Mela observed on January 7th, is a vibrant festival honoring the revered saint Chokha Mela, known for his contributions to devotional music and poetry. The event features devotional singing, cultural performances, and community feasts, celebrating his legacy of devotion and humility. The festival aims to bring people together in a spirit of unity and devotion, reflecting on Chokha Mela’s teachings and the values he championed.

Shri Sant Namdev Maharaj Jayanti

On October  26th, we Solemnize Sant Namdev Jayanti, honoring the revered saint and poet known for his devotional hymns and contributions to Sikhism and the Bhakti movement. The event included devotional singing, spiritual discussions, and community gatherings to reflect on his teachings of devotion, humility, and universal love. The celebration aimed to inspire attendees by embracing Sant Namdev’s message of faith and unity.

Babu Jag Jeevan Ram Jayani

On April 5th, we memorialize Babu Jag Jeevan Ram’s birth anniversary, honoring his significant contributions to Indian politics and social reform. The event featured discussions on his role in shaping modern India, his work for agricultural development, and his efforts in empowering marginalized communities. Cultural programs and speeches highlighted his legacy and inspired attendees to follow his principles of leadership and public service.
